10,000,000 breaths. That many each one of us breathed in and out during the last year, while life in and around us continued to be different, hard, beautiful, shocking even in its simplicity.

Fujifilm Hellas encourages young photographers and grants two scholarships, for the academic year 2021-2022 of the school of Orama Photography Studies covering 100% of the annual tuition.

The School

The school was founded in 2007 and has hosted thousands of students until today. Its graduates have excelled both in the professional field and in important artistic events.
It is housed in a modern photographic studio in the center of Ampelokipoi, providing all the necessary teaching materials. The courses at Orama are taken up by recognized professionals, while top Greek and international photographers work regularly with the school.

The Program

Keeping track of the latest trends worldwide, Orama offers an innovative and versatile photographic program. Here, the student can explore a whole range of photographic kinds with annual courses or autonomous workshops, while the professional photographer can evolve with specialized seminars. Intensive programs, photographic trips around the world, and even private or distance photography courses complement the available photographic experiences.

The Philosophy

Passion for photography, constant progress, freedom in expression: These are the principles that are taught at Orama. With high demands, first of all by us and then by our students, we commit ourselves to a lively, creative teaching process that will train perfectly and inspire every photography lover to discover his own self as a photographer.

I enrolled in the Orama School, because, beside of believing in the teachers I also believed a lot in its students. I was in search of a photographic environment where inspiration and artistic creativity coexist in both directions. Not only Orama has not contradicted me, but it has helped me develop a new understanding of photography. After a first round of studies, workshops and educational excursions (the highlight was our trip to Morocco), I learned that photography is life, the aesthetics is an edifice that is completely reversed, and about me, I am more aware than ever of the wealth of information, but still thirsty to go on…
