Digital Camera Basics

A digital camera offers a multitude of different options and settings that not only ensure a perfect shot, but also expand the photographer’s ability to express themselves. In this seminar we “unlock” these possibilities, and at the same time we “unlock” the creativity of anyone who wishes to engage in the art of photography.
The first day is dedicated to the multitude of settings and options of the camera and to their in-depth understanding with the aim of a perfect creative result. Topics covered include understanding shutter speed and aperture, differences between programs, white balance, RAW files, focal lengths and lens usage.
The purpose of the second day is to put the theory into practice in an outdoor educational photoshoot. There, the participants will have the opportunity to test their knowledge through examples and exercises and to find answers to all their questions about the project. Controlling depth of field and movement, available light, proper exposure and appropriate use of built-in flash are some of the topics that the course will focus on. By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to operate their camera with confidence, knowing all its capabilities, while having created their own set of technically sound and impressive images too.
The workshop is for beginners who have a digital camera with manual mode, which they should bring with them. Notes and additional photographic equipment are provided for demonstration.
