Between night and day, a small community of sellers, buyers, workers, enlivens with its voices a huge covered area, where the fish that feed the markets of Attica are gathered. Unloading boats, refrigerated trucks coming and going, people moving between crates looking for and haggling over the price, create a buzz that lasts until morning.
Early on Saturday, the participants will be at the heart of the event and are invited to turn it into a photographic subject, capturing the intensity and atmosphere of the fish ladder, with Menelaos guiding and advising. At the same time they will be taught ways to shoot in a noisy environment under the pressure of time, without losing the essence of their image.
On the next day the images will be presented for analysis and critique, in order for each student to leave having made their own capture of a particular topic.
