Tasos Vrettos has been interested in phography since 1979 creating both personal art projectas well as being the head of the photography department of the Publishing company ‘Grammi’, later of ‘Lampraki Publications’ and today as the founder of ‘studio vrettos’. His photography work has been published in international magazines, like Aperture, Cabinet, Zoom (italian and international version), Creative Camera, Officiel, Jardin des Modes, Janus, as well as in many greek magazines. He has worked with record companies and dancing groups as well as advertising campaigns. Some of his more recent exhibitions are: The Feel.Backstage, Festival of Athens and Epidaurus (June-July 2021) – ‘T(ρ)όποι Λατρείας’. Tasos Vrettos, Benaki Museum, Athens (11/’15 – 1/’16), Les Rencontres de la Photographie, Arles, France (2016) · ‘The female face of science, for the 20 years of collaboration of L’Oreal and Unesco, Benaki Museum (2017) · Homo Ludens, public facility- City Link, Athens(2015). He is preparing a publication in collaboration with “Onasis Institution” regarding the entirety of his work so far which will be published in two languages.
