Thodoris Nikolaou
Thodoris Nikolaou was born in December 1982 at Chalkida. His first contact with investigative journalism was in the TA NEA newspaper of the Lambrakis Journalism Organization. He specializes in social reporting and conducts dozens of surveys and missions. In the following years, his interest turned to photography and, sponsored by the Onassis Foundation, he completed a multi-year voyage to ten countries in the Balkan Peninsula, circulated in the form of a photo album by Agra Publications, entitled “Aemos: Routes in the Balkans.” ».
His articles, projects, research and interviews have been published in Greek and international media. His works have been exhibited in solo, group exhibitions and Universities in Greece and abroad. He teaches visual storytelling in photography and journalism workshops. His next long-term work on mental health and social stigma is in progress.
