Introduction to Timelapse
We have all admired a timelapse video of the night sky or a busy city. Time to make our own! But do we really know what Timelapse is all about? How will we achieve the right result? How and where can it be used, and why is it so common nowadays?
In this three-day workshop, Christoforos Anagnostopoulos will introduce the participants to all the necessary techniques to produce their own timelapse videos. The first day will present the whole theoretical background: history, uses, equipment, software, download preparation, camera settings and frequent errors. The next day the participants will take photos in practice outdoors in Athens under the guidance of the instructor, while on the last day they will return to school to edit their images and compose the final result.
Necessary equipment includes a simple DSLR or mirrorless camera with built-in intervalometer or handheld and tripod. On the third day of the seminar students can optionally have a laptop with them for image processing. It is addressed to all those who are familiar with the basic principles of photography and the operation of their camera.
