Few places in the world evoke passion the way Israel does. From the labyrinthine paths and walls of Jerusalem, the eerie calm of the Dead Sea, the beauty of the hills and valleys, to the cosmopolitan Tel Aviv with its own liberal and western lifestyle, on this photographic trek we will live unique experiences that are out of the ordinary.
Starting in Jerusalem we will have two days to photograph this fascinating kaleidoscope of cultures where daily life flows alongside millennial mountain range. We will tour ancient streets, get lost in the bazaars of the Old Town that encapsulates all the charm of the East and enjoy relaxing coffees in traditional neighborhoods.
On the third day we will wander among biblical landscapes, wild mountains and oases to take us to some of the most important sights. The unparalleled view from the Masada National Park and World Heritage Site, the Dead Sea, a salty warm lake surrounded by breathtaking nature and the feeling of floating on it, the historic villages of Palestine will give us exciting photo opportunities.
The next day we will wake up where the heart of Israel beats, in Tel Aviv. On the one hand, we will have the Mediterranean coast with the surfers who create a permanent summer climate, the numerous bars, restaurants, art galleries and on the other, the beauty of the old town with its stone buildings, its markets and the ancient port, offering us the contrasts that create great images.
On the fifth day we will be on the road again to visit some of the most picturesque cities and ancient monuments of Israel, which will give us the opportunity to enter even deeper into the daily life of the country’s communities and create the photographic imprint of an unforgettable travel experience.
The morning of the last day is dedicated to the final editing of the images, so that each participant will leave the trip having built a coherent and complete photographic portfolio.
The trek is aimed at everyone, regardless of photography level, beginners with basic technical knowledge as well as more experienced photographers who want to acquire a strong travel portfolio. Participants should bring a laptop for image editing.
